    Use postcode TS10 1RT for Sat Nav.

    From the junction of Kirkleatham Lane (A1042)  and the Trunk Road (A1085) follow the Trunk Road past Locke Park and turn left onto Locke Road.

    Go over the bridge and turn right at Redcar Cricket Club onto Kirkleatham Street.

    Travel a further 0.2 miles and the Redcar Civic and Leisure Centre building will be on your left.

  • By Bus

    The closest stop is Civic and Leisure Centre on Coatham Road, approximately 0.1 mile from the centre. From here, pass Coopers Chemists and Coatham Road Surgery and turn right onto Ridley Street.

    The buses which serve the Coatham Road stop are 62, 62A, 707, Sapphire X3, Sapphire X3A and Sapphire X4.

  • By Rail

    The nearest station is Redcar Central station, a short distance from the centre. Exit the station and turn left to go through the alley, keeping the car valeting and garage units on your right, which leads to Kirkleatham Street. Turn left and then turn right onto Ridley Street.

    Continue straight on to the main entrance to the building which will be on your right.

Consultation centre opens: 8.30am

When you arrive

Remember to bring two forms of ID and your appointment letter with you.

The entrance to the building is across the street from the Library.

Enter the building and take the lift to the 3rd floor.

The lifts are located to the right of reception. The reception desk will be facing you when you exit the lift.

Other helpful info

If you are unable to use a lift or stairs, please call the centre in advance as the site does not currently have a ground floor room available. This will allow us to reschedule your appointment at an alternative location.

Parking

There are several pay and display car parks along Kirkleatham Street and an underground car park in the building which is accessed from Kirkleatham Street.

Disabled parking is available outside the Library, across the street from the entrance.
