• By car

  From Portsbridge roundabout

  Exit the roundabout onto London Road/ A3. Bear left onto London Road/ A2047 then, after 0.6 miles, turn right onto Kipling Road.

  The centre is on the corner on your left. Please note that Kipling Road is a oneway street and can only be accessed via London Road.

• By bus

  The nearest bus stop is on London Road, directly opposite the Kipling Buildings. This stop is served by bus numbers 3, 7, 23 and 700.

• By train

  Hillsea station is approximately 1 mile from the centre.

  National Rail advise that there is no step-free access between the platforms at this station.

  As there are no direct connections to the centre we recommend taking a taxi from outside the station.

  Please contact Independent Assessment Services Customer Services before you travel to ensure your taxi fare will be reimbursed.

Useful Information

When you arrive

Consultation Centre opens 9:00am

Remember to bring two forms of ID and your appointment letter with you.

To enter, press the bell on the intercom. On entry, please let the receptionist know that you have arrived for your PIP consultation.

Other helpful info

This centre has step-free access.

There is a ramp that leads into the building from the main door to aid wheelchair users entrance in to the facility. 

Please be aware the front doors open slowly. 

There is an accessible toilet available. 

Parking

Parking is available on Kipling Road (to the side of the centre) and along London Road. There are no disabled parking spaces at the centre. The double yellow lines outside the centre on Kipling Road can be used by disabled badge holders, for parking and as a drop-off point.
