    Exit the M6  at Junction 34 taking the A683  to Lancaster . Bear slightly left into Bulk Road  and again into St Leonard’s Gate.

    Turn left into Great John Street (A6). Slight left into Penny Street (A6). Turn left into White Cross Street.

  • By Bus

    The main bus station is situated on Cable Street.

    The 2A, 3, 3A, 40, 41 and 42 buses all stop at White Cross Business Park.

    Alight on South Road opposite the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. Turn right off South Road into White Cross Street

  • By Rail

    Lancaster station is approximately 0.6 miles from the centre.

    From outside the station take the number 3A or 11 bus to White Cross Business Park. Alight on South Road opposite the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

    Turn right off South Road into White Cross Street.

When you arrive

Consultation centre opens: 8:30am

Remember to bring two forms of ID and your appointment letter with you.

The centre is located on level 4 of Alston House which is adjacent to Storey House.  Access is via the main entrance to Storey House.

There is a lift facing the entrance and stairs to the right of the entrance. Exit the lift at level 4 and take the door immediately to the right where you will see the PIP service door facing you down a short corridor.

Other helpful info

Accessible toilets are located on Level 2. Outdoor scooters should be left on the ground floor of Alston House. If you are unable to use a lift or stairs then please contact customer services.

Parking

There is only on-site parking for blue badge holders: please register your car on arrival either at the Gatehouse reception or PIP reception. There is a drop-off point situated immediately outside the Storey House entrance. The nearest pay and display car park is: Auction Mart Car Park, 28 Thurnham Street, Lancaster, LA1 1XU.
