• By Car

  From the M6 

  Exit the M6 at Junction 26 and then join the M58. Leave the M58 at Junction 3 and follow signs to Ormskirk/Southport on the A570 Ormskirk Road/St Helens Road. Once you reach Ormskirk, bear right onto Knowsley Road. Take 2nd right onto A577/Wigan Road. The hospital is 0.4 miles along on the right.

• By Bus

  The nearest bus stop is on Wigan Road (Ormskirk School). This stop is served by bus numbers 310, 375, 385 and 959. 

• By Rail

  Ormskirk station is approximately 1 mile from the centre. 

  To connect from the station, go out onto Station Approach. At the end of the road turn left onto Derby Street.
  
  Take the 1st right onto Stanley Street, then take 2nd right onto Moor Street. The bus station is along on your right. From here take bus number 310, 375 or 385 to Wigan Road (Ormskirk School).

When you arrive 

Remember to bring two forms of ID and your appointment letter with you. 

Bickerstaff House is a building in the hospital grounds. Our reception is opposite the Scarisbrick House entrance. From Car Park B, follow signs for Bickerstaff House. Access is via a secure entrance door – please use the intercom on the left and our receptionist will buzz you in.

Parking 

From the hospital entrance on Dicconson Way, follow signs to Car Park B. You will need to take a ticket at the barrier on entry.

Two disabled parking spaces and a drop-off point are located on the roundabout outside Bickerstaffe House.

To access the drop off point, turn left after the barrier and right to the roundabout. Continue to Car Park B after drop-off. 

Further parking is available in Car Park A. To get back to Bickerstaffe House, follow the signs through the main corridor of the hospital. Please note that Car Par A is slightly further away.
