  • By Car

    From the North/East 

    Leave the A12 at Junction 29 and follow the signs to Colchester/A1232. Continue on Ipswich Road for 2 miles.

    At the double roundabout, turn left onto St Andrew’s Avenue/A133 and continue for 0.8 miles.

    At Greenstead roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Colne Causeway/Elmstead Road/A134.

    At the next roundabout, continue straight ahead onto Eastern Approach/A134 then turn right onto Hawkins Road. The centre is on the right-hand side. 

    From the South/West 

    Leave the A12 at Junction 26. Follow signs to join the A1124 towards Colchester.

    Continue for approximately 3 miles and then take the 2nd exit at the Maldon Road roundabout to join Southway/A134.

    At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Magdalen Street/A134 and then at the following roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Maudlyn Road. Take the 1st exit at the next roundabout to continue on Maudlyn Road towards A134. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Hythe Quay/A134, and then the exit onto Colne Causeway/ A134. Take the 1st exit on the following roundabout onto Hawkins Road. The centre is 0.2 miles on your right.

  • By Bus

    The nearest bus stop is on Hythe Station Road, approximately 0.3 miles from the centre. This stop is served by bus numbers 64, 64a, 64b, 74, 74b, 76, 77 and 109. 

  • By Rail

    Hythe station is approximately 0.15 miles from the centre. This station is on the Sunshine Coast Line and is served by frequent trains from Colchester. 

    Exit the station and turn right onto Hythe Station Road. Then turn left onto Hawkins Road. The centre is on the left-hand side.

Consultation Centre opens: 8:30am.

When you arrive 

Remember to bring two forms of ID and your appointment letter with you. 

The centre is inside Weston Business Centre. 

On entry, please let the receptionist know that you have arrived for your PIP consultation.

This centre has step-free access. 

Parking 

There is a private car park directly outside the centre. Please ask our receptionist for a free parking permit. Disabled parking and a drop-off point are located outside the main entrance.
